LANDBRIDGE TRAIN SERVICES
Land bridge trains are the best mode of transportation available. They consume less fuel per kilometer than any other railroading form maximizing while space. The rolling stock can be adapted to different gauges depending on the current railway infrastructure, as well as offer higher speeds.
KGS Asian Land bridge Sdn Bhd, a member of KGS Group, will operate the Land bridge Trains Services connecting Lad Krabang ICD, Thailand, with Malaysia. This will significantly reduce the transportation time via sea vessels.
The first phase of the landbridge will handle Non-Vessel Ocean Container Cargo (NVOCC), which prefers using land transports rather than sea-going vessels. KGS will operate trains on regular frequency using KTMB and Thai Railway networks and offering competitive rates to our customers at both ends.
The second phase will involve the transportation of ocean-going Transhipment Containers using mother vessels at Port Klang. We will be looking into providing our fleet of rolling stocks to meet the market requirement more efficiently and effectively.
WARE HOUSING
Our warehouse is at a premium location on our land, where accessibility and necessary infrastructures are perfect for large logistics activities. The warehouse area is 95,750 sq ft with a loading bay area of 10,000 sq. ft and office space of 15,140 sq ft. There is a large area of the turfed surface to accommodate four tiers of 20-footer and 40 footers laden containers.
